The further you get away from Bangkok the more you notice some of the old ways of life grimly hanging on. While it seems that buffaloes toiling the field have been replaced by small tractors it is great to see that Samlors still cruising the streets looking for a fare. I don’t think I have seen a rider under the age of 50 yet so once this generation has gone I guess that will be it. These things are so highly geared it takes all their energy to get up to speed.
