Life in rural Thailand

Happy Birthday Life in Rural Thailand

November 2, 2009 · 4 Comments

Excately one year ago today I started this blog when I wrote this.

In the following 365 days I have posted 201 times, uploaded 660 photos and recieved 577 comments (plus numerous emails) from the more then 30,000 people that have dropped by.

My busiest month was May.

The busiest post for a single day was last month when I wrote this.

ต่าย อรทัย Tai Orathai is my most popular blog by a huge margin since I started writing.

The most clicked on link that I have posted is to a video of ต่าย อรทัย Tai Orathai followed by just a whisker the link to Peppers Bakery and Cafe in Ubon.

The most popular google search was for ‘tai orathai’ followed by ‘life in rural thailand’

I have for the most part enjoyed blogging. It is something I look forward to reading again in the years to come to remind me of the ups and downs of living in Thailand. There have been a few times when I go AWOL for a few weeks and it always surprises me who takes the time to send me a quick email to tell me to wake up as they are missing there ‘fix!” These and all other comments are always a joy to read and I would like to thank everyone who takes the time to read my ramblings or even better yet, to leave a message.

Here to another 12 months. Cheers.

    Hi Malcolm,

Great to hear from you mate. It is a great way to keep in touch with people. The best thing I like about it is when some obscure Person sends you one of those emails… you know the one…

Hi MeMock, haven’t seen you for years (and even then we were just acquaintances) please tell me everything you have been up to.

All I have to do is say hi, here is my blog – read it!

    Cheers
